Why You Should Join Our Troop

Troop 99 is one of the largest and most active Scout Troops in Bucks County,  PA.  It is made up of more than 100 scouts.  We are chartered by the American Legion 440 and are part of the Tamanend District of the Washington Crossing Council

Troop 99 meets most Monday nights at 7 pm at the American Legion Morrell Smith Post #440 on Linden Avenue in historic Newtown borough.

We enjoy a full year round program of camping, high adventure, community service and personal development. Highlights of the Troop 99 year include a week at the Washington Crossing Council's Ockanickon Scout Reservation, the Tamanend District Camporee, C.O.P.E., the Games Campout, and at least one summer high adventure trip. The troop has a high eagle scout success rate.  Troop 99 has attended National Jamboree and also sent scouts to Philmont, Northern Tier and the Sea Base Adventure campout.  The troop is always welcoming new Scouts
